Bret holds 37 years of experience in the upstream sector. He initially served as a Drilling Specialist and Operations Superintendent assuming the responsibility of five states for Continental Resources. In 1999, Bret founded Brickman Oilfield Services and Brickman Fastline, which were sold to Complete Energy Services in 2012. In 1998, Bret founded Maverick Brothers Resources and continues to lead the company today.

With 34 years of experience, Bart is in charge of production optimization, completions and well stimulation along with coordinating field and office operations. Prior to Maverick Brothers Resources, Bart founded Brickman Production Services. In addition to his experience with Maverick Brothers, Bart was previously the Production Foreman for Louis Dreyfus in the Anadarko Basin and Sooner Trend, Oklahoma.

Vivian has 40 years of managerial experience in the oil and gas sector. Throughout her career, she has gained valuable experience negotiating land and general business contracts. Her background also includes supervision of accounting resources, as well as banking, legal and regulatory relations. Prior to joining Maverick Brothers in 2010, Vivian was President of Henry Gungoll Operating. Vivian earned a B.A. from the University of Oklahoma.

Mr. Vrana joined Maverick as General Counsel in 2018 after having been involved with
Maverick as a business partner and investor for over 10 years.  Mr. Vrana has been involved in
the energy industry for over 32 years starting in 1986 when he completed the Conoco training
program and worked in the Lafayette, LA office scheduling gas from platforms in the Gulf of
Mexico.  After law school, he spent most of his career as a Partner at Jackson Walker, LLC
where he was a Co-Chair of the Energy Practice Group.  Prior to Jackson Walker, Mr. Vrana was
General Counsel for Tractebel Energy Marketing, Inc. where he also managed the contract
administration and credit risk groups.  Mr. Vrana has been listed in Best Lawyers in America
since 2007 in the areas of Derivatives and Futures Law, Energy Law and Natural Resources Law. In 2018, he was named Lawyer of the Year in Energy Law in the Dallas/Fort Worth Region.  He received his Undergraduate degree in Finance from Oklahoma State University and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma and is a member of the Texas State Bar and the Houston and American Bar Associations.

Doug has spent the last 26 years in the upstream sector, managing exploration and development efforts in most continental U.S. basins. Doug began his career as an exploration geologist for Enserch Exploration in Dallas. He has also worked as District Geologist for Chaparral Energy and most recently as the Lead Geologist for the Emerging Plays Team at Continental Resources. Doug joined Maverick Brothers in 2012. Since 1998, he has focused on identifying and developing horizontal resource plays. Doug earned a B.S. in Geology from the University of Oklahoma.
